Study plans

The three-year course in Dietetics, after in-depth study of basic chemical-physical, biological and psychological knowledge, includes courses relating to the commodity composition of food, food hygiene and safety, the structure and function of nutrients and their intervention in cellular metabolism, as well as, of course, knowledge of the anatomical structure and function of organs and systems of the human body. During the second and third year of the course, theoretical and practical information is provided on nutrition and eating behavior in order to prevent and intervene in the treatment of current diseases related to improper nutrition. In addition, internship activities gradually lead to increasingly complex nutritional situations.

 

Credits

180 university credits (CFU) are required to obtain the degree; As a rule, 60 credits are acquired each year with evaluation tests both for the courses and for the other supplementary teaching forms. Each course is assigned the same number of credits for all students; The grade (expressed in thirtieths) varies according to the student's level of preparation. The final mark, which includes the evaluation of the final examination, is expressed in one hundred and ten.
