Contributions and financial benefits

The contribution criteria adopted by Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore are inspired by the dual principle of equity and progressivity. On the basis of the income of the family unit to which they belong, each student is assigned to one of the six brackets determined by the University. This makes it possible to scale the economic commitment of families according to the logic of an investment destined to last over time. The high employment rates and the consequent professional satisfaction are now consolidated elements, which confirm the effectiveness of a system which, while differing from the one in use at other universities, ultimately entails an objective advantage for students and their families.

With this in mind, starting from the 2026-2027 academic year, an economic adjustment mechanism will be introduced which, in addition to the numerous initiatives supporting the right to study implemented by Università Cattolica, provides specific benefits for students enrolled in a selected group of degree programmes, with the aim of facilitating the enrolment in such degree programmes of people belonging to the first three income brackets.
